I have over twenty years of experience in accountancy having worked my way up through a modern apprenticeship before qualifying as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2004. I qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser and have been a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation since 2009.
I specialise in advising owner-managed businesses, dealing with all aspects of day to day advice including accounting requirements, taxation advice, strategic planning and proactive advice on how to grow your business.
Being a chartered tax advisor I offer guidance on all forms of taxation, including all aspects of family owned businesses, capital gains tax reduction on property and business disposals, and family trusts and inheritance tax planning.
There is no one size fits all business planning, therefore Rob works with clients to understand their individual needs to help them to develop and restructure their businesses to minimise risk and maximise efficiency.
I am married to Sarah (who is Alex’s sister, that’s the connection) and I have two beautiful children, Georgia and Benjamin, oh and a hamster called Benjy.
I trained, qualified and gained a vast amount of experience in a ‘Big 4’ firm working as an audit specialist. However, I am also gifted in having a big picture mentality, borne partly from running my own practice but also from my previous work experience. This ensures that throughout my professional time spent with you I will be thinking about adding value to your business and possible strategic actions rather than just being your “accountant”.
People are what I am really interested in, I’m a big personal relationship advocate and I really enjoy getting to know an individual and their personal goals as well as their business needs as a whole.
I live with my wife, Heather, and our two insane cats Monkey and Hades (yes, I named my cat after the Greek god of the underworld).
Hi, Georgia here! I’ve been working at ChadStone full time since June 2015. I’m a lover of anything cheese related, pugs and Real Housewives! I’m a food fanatic (especially cheese – did I mention that already?) and I also make it my personal mission to ensure everyone at ChadStone is always drinking plenty of water! #RockNRoll!
I have been a member of the ChadStone team for almost two years and boy do they know about it! From reciting 90’s R&B classics to trying to put up our Christmas decorations in September, I try to keep the smiles flowing at ChadStone! Who knew accountants have a sense of humour huh?
I started working for ChadStone part-time in March 2015, then in September 2015 went full-time. I am a part-qualified accountant, with two years’ experience of managing bookkeeping for our clients, preparing VAT Returns and preparing accounts.
I am a mum of 3 children and 2 pets (yes, lots of cleaning and arguments) and I have quite an eclectic taste in music (my kids hate it when I start dancing).
I love walking and enjoy attending fitness classes (crazy I know and I’m still unfit). I’m lactose intolerant and only have sweeteners in my tea, so if you are too, at least you can still have a cuppa when you come to see us. In my spare time (when the kids have gone to bed) I love reading, watching films and playing candy crush.
I’m a self-motivated, highly organised qualified accountant with eight years experience; specialising in owner-managed businesses with a focus on corporate entities.
I joined the ChadStone team in early 2016 and have thoroughly enjoyed tackling the challenges that come with a rapidly growing firm of accountants.
Being ACCA qualified and having trained on a wide variety of jobs, I possess a broad range of skills suited to most areas of accountancy.
I am married to Gez and we live together with our cat Jaffa (not named after the VAT case I promise).
I started working for ChadStone part-time in 2016 after spending 15 years as a teacher. I am a highly organised individual who takes great pleasure in ensuring everything is systemised and has its place in the office.
